Enchanted Circle Pottery - 575-737-9640, located in the Taos Canyon, U.S. Highway 64, midway between Angel Fire and Taos. The pottery is owned and operated by Kevin and JoAnne DeKeuster. We create a variety of functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. The functional pieces are lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe. The most unique aspect of our work is that it is fired solely with wood. Wood firing, an ancient Japanese process of firing, produces one of a kind iridescent colors. As the wood burns in the kiln, wood ash lands on the ceramic pieces. The kiln reaches such intensely high temperatures (2400 degrees), that the ash is melted into a glaze. The flames surging across the pots also add interesting marks and color. We are sure you will enjoy the trip to our studio and gallery. Alliance Studying Paranormal Phenomena (ASPE) is an association of curious and committed folks whose goal is to document, study, preserve and present paranormal experiences. By definition, "paranormal" denotes events or phenomena that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding -- which covers a lot of territory!       
        Some of us at ASPE know a little about a lot of paranormal phenomena, some know a lot about a particular paranormal area, and some don't know anything at all about the paranormal. The one thing we all have in common is a desire to explore the phenomena and share what we have learned.
        For those with similar interests and open minds, ASPE meetings and events offer opportunities to discover and discuss experiences for which they can find no scientific or rational explanation. For those who have personally experienced the paranormal, ASPE offers an opportunity to document the details of their experience for sharing with others.
       ASPE is interested in compiling information about experiences involving all facets of the paranormal, from UFOs, energy vortexes, native American spirits, alien abductions, poltergeists, crop circles, animal mutilations, reincarnation and ghosts to the Taos Hum and beyond.
       The ASPE website currently includes world-wide paranormal news, images and videos relating to the paranormal, links to related organizations. As it grows, the website will include transcripts of paranormal experiences reported to ASPE, and forums for discussion of all things unexplained.
       Together with those whose intent is to learn and share, ASPE looks forward to exploring the unknown.
