DESCRIPTION:Aspen Painting Workshop \ntaught by local artist: Katrina Shirley \nFriday July 11\, 2025       1:00pm-4:00pm \n$25.00 per person-  This class is for adults only due to limited spaces \nAll materials will be provided: canvas\, acrylic paints\, paint brushes\, etc \n(Classes are free to Art Up NNM artist members) \nFor information on registration call 575-377-6353  Mon. thru Thurs. 9am-5pm or leave a message \nThis is one of a series of five Art Workshops/Classes sponsored by Art Up Northern New Mexico this summer season \nThe class will be held at \nWhatville \n30 Trujillo Lane \nAngel Fire\, NM \nCreate Your Own Aspen painting! \nIn this class\, local artist Katrina Shirley\, will lead you step by step on how to paint Aspen Trees using acrylic paint. Katrina has lived and painted in Angel Fire since 2018. Being surrounded by so many aspens\, she fell in love with how they reflected the early morning color from the sky and evening sunsets. She then began to use them as her model for expressing what she saw from her eyes\, to her heart\, to a blank canvas. She enjoys the process of blending color and light and has honored us by agreeing to teach you how to also express what you see on a canvas. \nYou will create your version of Katrina’s Aspen Masterpiece!
