Alicia Pettigrew
Chairman of the Board
My name is Alicia Pettigrew and I am the 2025 Chairman of the Board for the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce. I am also the Onsite Manager for the Angel Fire Branch of New Mexico Bank & Trust, a division of UMB Bank, n.a. Yes, you read that correctly, UMB Bank. On January 31, 2025 a merger took place between HTLF Bank & UMB Bank. But that’s not what I’m here to tell you about. If you have questions or want more information, please come by the branch and we can chat. There are so many great changes in the works and I’d love to share with you in more detail.
But on the topic of change, that was the theme that seemed to be guiding my life when I found my way to Angel Fire, New Mexico. In 2017 my daughter and I made a huge leap and left California for the Southwest. We fell in love with Angel Fire, as I’m sure you can all relate, because this place is so special and unique. The very first moment I saw this valley was coming out of Taos Canyon on a rainy day at the end of June and just past the blinking light a Bald Eagle flew in front of a magnificent double rainbow! It literally took my breath away and that wonder and enchantment has stayed with me ever since.
I was born and raised in Madera, California, on the rural outskirts of the San Joaquin Valley. I grew up on a Sun-Maid Raisin farm, and after high school I moved to Huntington Lake, a tiny mountain paradise at 7500′ elevation in the Sierra national forest. When I arrived in the Moreno Valley, it instantly felt like home. And not just because of the trees and the mountains, but because of all the people who make this community what it is. From day one, I felt so welcomed as a resident here, and I knew this was where I wanted to plant roots and raise my daughter. I’d like to thank each of the locals I’ve gotten to know over the years for your friendship and kindness.Â
I joined the Chamber of Commerce because I want to give back and support the community and the local businesses that help our valley thrive. The Chamber Board of Directors are the most devoted, hard-working volunteers I have ever seen in action. We have a schedule full of fun events planned for 2025 and we hope to see you there! It is an honor to serve as Chairman of the Board and I hope to continue with the Chamber for many years to come.
Cheers to a wonderful year and thank you all for your support!
 Respectfully,  Alicia Pettigrew

The Chamber presents an opportunity for all members to grow their network, and in turn, grow their business. It can allow you to forge professional and personal relationships which can last for many years. I invite all of you to feel the energy, make connections, and be active in what I believe is one of the best resources our community has at its fingertips.
Encourage non-members to come out and join us. We want those who are not currently members to be welcomed and understand what the Chamber can offer through membership.
Attend an Event. Be a Chamber Ambassador. Invite a Guest. Shop local. Be involved!
I look forward to seeing you throughout 2023.
I’ll see you on the trail, slopes, streets, fairways, shops, and restaurants!
Jae Lesley
