The Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of businesses and individuals who work together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the Angel Fire area.The Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to supporting our local businesses and providing residents and visitors the resources needed to locate quality services. We offer unbeatable member benefits and work to bring growth to the business community. We strive to serve our members and to meet their needs with a lasting commitment to economic sustainability.
What We Do:
The Chamber is a service institution and an action organization. We are dedicated to the economic health of our community through the promotion of year-round tourism and diversity among local businesses. We represent over 200 members from a variety of trades including lodging, recreation, building services, churches, education, real estate, restaurants, shopping, artists, home services and more. We are a two-time Chamber of the Year Award Winner. We develop local business support groups, coordinate and implement seminars and training courses for members, and we bring new events to the area. We create active and effective committees to assist the board of director’s and serve our members. We represent and act upon member concerns with local and state legislature. We are an active participant and support the Village of Angel Fire Sustainability Committee.
How We Function:
The work of the Chamber is financed solely by the investment of members who provide support through donations, membership dues and program fees.
We are run by a President/CEO and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of seven elected members. These board members serve for staggered terms of 3 years, plus an ex-officio director from the Village of Angel Fire and past a president (if that person is not presently elected to serve a position on the board.)
Through the development of committees, various programs that improve the community, are carried out by the directors, the Chamber members, the Chamber staff and volunteers.
All Chamber members are encouraged to serve on the committees and projects of their choice.
