Chile Challenge Downhill Race

The Chile Challenge is one of the longest-running downhill courses in the South West Rockies. Nearly two miles of raw New Mexico singletrack dropping 1,900 vertical feet through pine forest and high desert through berms, jumps, and of course Angel Fire’s famous Superchunk. Home of the Chile Challenge since 1988, returning for 2026 will mark nearly 40 years of gravity racing on this mountain.
