Memorial Day Ceremony

For over 50 years, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial “Memorial Day Ceremony” has been and continues to be an emotional yet healing time for veterans and their families as we celebrate those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice by dying in our nations service. This year’s activities include: The Flag March, which starts at the corner of US Highway 64 and Highway 434 and concludes at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial; 44th Army Band Ensemble performance; Keynote Speaker Dr. James Willbanks, Professor Emeritus of Military History at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and decorated Vietnam Veteran; VVA Northern NM Chapter 996 Color Guard; 21 Gun Salute by the Tsidi Toii Veterans.
