Moreno Valley Prep Thespian Troupe’s Production of Jessie Nelson and Steven Sater’s “Alice by Heart”
This touching musical is inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,
set during the London Blitz, where a girl named Alice uses the book to cope
with her friend Alfred’s illness and impending quarantine.
The show explores themes of first love, loss, and imagination, featuring a pop-rock score
and characters from Wonderland appearing as Alice and Alfred navigate their harsh reality and their storybook world.
